The Oh Fruck! Story

Phil and Tom went to art school together a long time ago. We spent a lot of time drinking (coffee mostly) and talking.

After college were were productive citizens.

We got jobs. Some were good. Some were silly.

Tom got a lot of experience creating games, (mostly for a big toy company, but other places too). Phil got a lot of experience making stuff (and losing at games).

But we missed working together, so we got together and spent a lot of time drinking (coffee, mostly) and talking.

Eventually, we got our act together and made Oh Fruck! We liked it some much, we called our company The Fruckus Company. (It's just the two of us.)

We really wanted the game to have a certain sensibility, so we enlisted our friend Mike Fisher to do the illustrations. He did an awesome job helping to bring our characters to life. Mike is definitely a real frucker!

Why Oh Fruck!?

Yellow CheckboxWe wanted a game based on a traditional deck of playing cards. There hasn't been a good new card game that uses real cards in forever!

Yellow CheckboxWe wanted a game for most ages and most people but not all ages and all people. This isn't for little kids or people who say "Oh Fudge!"

Yellow CheckboxWe wanted a game that's quick & easy to learn and playable anytime, anywhere. No complicated rules or lots of silly pieces!

Yellow CheckboxWe wanted a game that's strategic and funny!
